A large part of the painkillers is analgesics. There are two groups of these drugs: narcotic and non-narcotic. Drug are promedol, omnopon, morphine and others. These drugs inhibit severe pain. Non-narcotic analgesics are butadiene, aspirin, analgin, paracetamol, and a great many other means. They are used to relieve a toothache, muscle pain, and colds. There are painkillers and non-analgesics: antispasmodics (papaverine, no-spa), vasodilators (nitroglycerin), antihypertensives, carminatives (dill water, carbol). Independent use of painkillers for severe and acute pain can only harm, in this case, you need to urgently seek medical help.
